Our extra-curricular Activities have consistently been graded as excellent and pupils are expected to take part in at least one extra-curricular activity each week. Pupils who are selected for teams are expected to attend practices as well as any other activity in which they may wish to participate. Pupils in Year 10 are expected to take part in either the Combined Cadet Force, the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme or Community Service.
Many of our pupils have found that the extra-curricular activities they have pursued at school have not only given them skills for life but are looked on favourably on their UCAS applications.
Clubs and Activities vary, but the following shows examples:
COMBINED CADET FORCE
DEBATING & PUBLIC SPEAKING
DUKE OF EDINBURGH'S AWARD
GERMAN FOR BEGINNERS
GLOBAL ROCK (THEATRE AND DANCE)
MODEL UNITED NATIONS
PI AND CHIPS (COMPUTER CODING)
