Meals at Ryde School are taken in our award winning purpose-built dining hall which has stunning views over the Solent. Pupils choose from a wide variety of foods and eat with their friends and teachers.
Pupils at Fiveways eat in their own dining room where teaching staff eat with them, helping to instill table manners and a respect for healthy food choices. A dedicated kitchen staff in their own kitchen on Fiveways premises ensures food is tailored to younger tastes.
Junior pupils eat their lunch in the Senior School dining hall 45 minutes before the Senior School, ensuring a non-rushed meal and the ability for staff to help with food choices and table manners.
Senior School pupils have two lunch times each day to allow for lunch time clubs and to ensure a comfortable number of pupils in the dining hall at any time.
Boarders eat their breakfast at their boarding houses and their lunch and supper at the school before returning home to their houses during the school week. Cosy and well-appointed kitchens are situated at both boarding houses to allow pupils to make hot and cold drinks, snacks and light meals if desired. Weekend meals are taken at the Boarding Houses.
