Food for Boarders

    A wide selection of food is available at all meals and special diets can be catered for.  A good choice of healthy and delicious hot and cold meals are available and our in-house catering team also create themed evenings and special meals are created to mark specific dates in the calendar and help cross-cultural awareness,  Christmas, Burns Night, Chinese New Year, Pancake Day, Mexican evenings etc, allcreate a fun and relaxed eating environment where new tastes can be tried!

    BEMBRIDGE BOARDING HOUSE 

    Boarders have breakfast and supper in their boarding house and lunch at school in the dining hall. Breakfast and supper, and all weekend meals, are served in the dining room at Bembridge. 

    SPINNAKER BOARDING HOUSE

    Boarders have most meals at school in the dining hall with their own kitchen at the boarding house to make snacks and where meals are made and servied on the weekends by the hosue parents. 

    Breakfast

    There is a choice of a ‘Full English’ or a continental option, along with a range of cereals, toast, home-made yoghurts, milk, juices, tea and coffee.

    Lunch and supper

    A good choice of healthy and delicious hot meals together with a wide selection of salads, cold meats and cheese are available at both lunch and supper. Desserts range from traditional puddings and pies through to ice creams and home-made yoghurts. 

    A plentiful supply of fresh fruit is available at every meal, and also as a healthy snack option in the boarders' kitchens. Boarders are able to cook light dishes for themselves and have access to snacks within the boarding houses.
