Netball is the major sport for girls in the Spring term with all girls from Years 7-10 having the opportunity both to develop their skills, techniques and game play in games lessons.  In Years 11 to the Sixth Form it is offered as an option in senior games sessions although it is expected that all players selected for the senior teams opt for netball.

Regular training for all teams takes place during the week and there is an extensive fixture list with games being played mostly at the weekend although there are some weekday fixtures.  In addition the School enters the national schools netball tournaments with the area rounds being played in October/November and the regional round taking place in January.  The School also enters the IOW netball tournaments.

The School has formed close links with various netball clubs on the island such as Shorwell netball club and all girls are encouraged to pursue the sport at club level.
