“i have no special talent. I am only passionately curious”
We ignite a passion for science in all our pupils. Practical work takes centre stage, with note-taking kept to a minimum to allow more time for experiments and discussion of results, we believe in learning through practical activities.
In the Junior School full use is made of the purpose built Science Laboratory, which is well resourced with access to a wide range of equipment. We use the school grounds and locations across the Island and mainland to bring topics to life and extend our learning beyond the classroom.
On entry to the Senior School, the children should be equipped with an excellent grounding of the knowledge and skills they need to make sense of the world around them. They will be able to make informed choices about aspects of health, safe behaviour and protecting the environment, choices which may influence their entire lives. They will be curious and want to know more.
