The Senior School benefits from an extensive range of excellent resources helping our pupils to reach their potential and achieve outstanding success in their chosen fields. We are justifiably proud of our examination results and university destinations, but these are by no means the only measure of our success; our purpose is to help our pupils grow as independent, confident individuals with ambition and purpose and the well-rounded education your child receives at Ryde ensures resilience, confidence and a desire to learn both in and outside of the classroom.
The Senior School benefits from excellent facilities and inspired teaching. We offer a broad curriculum that ensures all pupils enjoy an education up to 16 that is broad and rigorous and leads to the gold standard EBac measure. At 16 we offer three routes through the Sixth Form that reflect the broad and ambitious background of our pupil body. Our pupils understand the importance of hard work and application and move on to a wide variety of destinations, from Russell Group universities, Oxford and Cambridge, art courses and medical schools to vocational courses, training, the military and immediate work placements. We see the diversity of our student body and their destinations as a real strength of the School.
Our latest inspection by the Independent Schools Inspectorate team, praised many excellent features in our high quality provision. In addition to the excellent academic, creative arts and sporting activities, the location of our school enables us to provide an exciting, adventurous and diverse array of extra-curricular activities that all pupils are encouraged to participate in. Our dramatic productions never fail to impress, we have excellent art and design facilities and an impressive number of our pupils have achieved their Gold Duke of Edinburgh's Award.
