Modern and Foreign Languages

French and Spanish are taught to A level, following the OCR specification.  The courses are drawn from a variety of up-to-date resources and use of the Internet is encouraged.  The library also has materials and subscription magazines to encourage self-supported learning.  An extensive range of videos and DVD is available to borrow from the Department.  AS and A2 French pupils have one period per week conversation with a native French speaker.
