Sport
All pupils are encouraged to participate in extra-curricular activities and a wide range is provided. There are regular House competitions in most sports. We run rugby, hockey, cricket, soccer, tennis, squash and athletics teams against both Island and mainland opposition and compete in many national competitions. Many of our sportsmen have represented the county and several have gone on to full international honours.
Touring teams from Tasmania - Launceston College; South Africa - Clifton College, Vrendenberg, Cathcart and Kwazizulu; Argentina - Buenos Aires; Holland - R.C. Tilburg; and Belgium -Dendermonde RFC, Melle College (Ghent), Visé (Liege), have been welcomed by us in the last few years in a variety of sports.
