Revision Courses
Our teachers take pride in offering extra help to pupils at the end of lessons, after school and sometimes at weekends. Many departments offer ‘Clinics’ once a week, which allow pupils to discuss a topic which they have found difficult.Ryde School also offers revision courses over the Easter holidays:
These cover GCSE and A Level courses; some AS courses are available too.
A2 and AS courses last for two days each – working from 9.00 am to 3.45 pm; GCSE courses take place over a morning or afternoon. It is structured so that pupils might take as many as six or eight GCSE courses, or three or four A Level courses. These courses are available to pupils outside the school as well as to Rydeians. A small charge is made to contribute towards the school’s costs.
2008 courses will take place during the weeks beginning Monday 25th March and Monday, 31st March.
