Communication, language and literacy
Children enjoy many opportunities throughout the day to communicate thoughts, ideas and feelings and build up relationships between each other and adults. They share stories, non-fiction books, poetry, rhymes, and learn the letter sounds to enable them to read. Our children are encouraged to develop pencil control, form letters correctly and begin to write their own thoughts and ideas.
