A Pupil's Day
I get up at 7am and have my breakfast. I walk to the bottom of my lane and catch the bus, which leaves for school at 7.45am. I enjoy being on the coach with my friends and the journey is fun.
I get into school at 8.30am and go to my form room to see my friends. My first job is to put my games kit on the shelf and then I say good morning to Mr Bowes and sit at my desk. Mr Bowes asks me to hand in my prep and he checks my diary. I then have to sort out my belongings for the day.
Nearly every day we go off to assembly. These are usually very entertaining and I like it when we have to go to the front of the hall to help the teachers. On Friday, one of the classes takes the assembly. I love it when it’s our turn and we can all get dressed up. My favourite hymn is ‘Cross Over the Road my Friend’.
We have maths and English every day and lots of other subjects. In French we sing and play games. I like it when the teachers use the interactive whiteboards. I have enjoyed making my pop-up cards in DT but I really do like painting best. My favourite day is when I have games. My sister is in the netball team and, in our last football game, I nearly scored a goal. Next term I am looking forward to playing rugby.
It’s fun when we can go down on the field to play. We always play football. At break time we can play on the play equipment or play football. Thursday’s my best day when we have class sales – I like to buy the popcorn.
I stay to clubs on two days and on the others I do my prep in the library. When we do our prep in the library and have finished, we can play games. My bus leaves at 5pm.
