After School Clubs
Educational activity clubs are offered at Fiveways starting at 3.45 pm every evening except Fridays. The club ends at 4.45 pm and prompt collection is appreciated. Clubs and activities vary, but the following may be included: ‘Quivering Quavers’, Short Tennis, Cricket Club, Ballet, Christmas/Easter Club and Tongue Twisters.
With children being slightly older, they are encouraged to participate in the wide range of extra curricular activities on offer in the Junior School; these also finish at 4.45 pm. Indeed, these clubs are viewed as an important part of the life of the school. Typically, clubs include: art,
athletics, board games, Brownies, choir, computer, craft, cricket, football, French, hockey, keyboard, library, mathematics, movie, netball, orchestra, philosophy, pottery, recorders, Rookie lifeguards, rounders, rugby, science, and swimming.
In the Junior School, all children belong to one of three houses. There are regular house competitions in most sports, as well as a number of events, including drama and problem solving competitions.
