CURRENT VACANCIES
PART-TIME, PERMANENT
Monday to Friday, Immediate Start
The School is currently looking to add to our Domestic Team of cleaners that operate outside of the hours of our normal school day. We have a requirement for 20 hours cleaning per week to be fulfilled on a Monday to Friday basis. The shifts are 4 hours every evening, either 5-9pm or 6-10pm.
The cleaning roles at Ryde School typically suit self-motivated individuals with a keen eye for detail, who enjoy working both alone and within a team and are able to work with minimum supervision when the situation requires. We have a wide range of buildings and facilities which are cleaned to a high standard by our domestic team. As part of this dedicated cleaning team, you will take great pride in your work and strive to maintain these standards in all areas. Experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided. COSHH and manual handling knowledge is desirable for this role, but full on-site training will be given.
Working at Ryde School is a fantastic opportunity to work in a prestigious independent school in a beautiful location on the Isle of Wight. Benefits include automatic enrolment in the school’s contributory Group Personal Pension Scheme, access to an Employee Assistance Programme through Simply Health, a generous annual leave entitlement and free on site parking. Should you wish to discuss any aspects of the role, please be encouraged to call Mrs. Jacqueline Turner (Domestic Manager) on 01983 618349 for an informal discussion.
In accordance with current legislation, candidates are required to fully complete a Ryde School Application Form.
