Daily Life at the Prep School

No day is the same at Ryde Prep where from Reception to Year 6, we provide an outstanding, varied, all-round and fun education for boys and girls.

Children aged 4 to 7 are located in Oxford Lodge a warm and calming grade 2 Victorian villa, expertly converted to an inspiring learning space. Our Prep children aged 7 to 11 are in the main Prep building, both on the main Ryde School campus with access to all the open space, fields, sports and arts facilities this offers.

Family & Community Dining

Every meal is prepared by our skilled onsite chefs, utilising fresh, locally sourced ingredients to power growing minds and bodies. Dietary requirements and allergies are expertly accommodated.

In Pre-Prep, teaching staff and pupils sit together for lunch. This shared experience fosters table manners, encourages healthy choices and turns lunchtime into a warm social occasion.

Our website only gives you a small taste of the vibrancy of our school and we warmly invite you to visit to experience it for yourselves.
