The best way to experience Ryde is to visit. We hold on-site Open Mornings in the Autumn and Spring Terms and a Sixth Form Information Evening in October. Personal tours are always available throughout each term.
Admissions Process
If you would like to register your child for Ryde School please download and sign the form below and arrange payment of the non-returnable registration fee. Admission and entry will be subject to the availability of a place and the pupil satisfying our admission requirements.
- Entrance Tests: All applicants sit a few relevant tests (we do not run competitive entrance exams but do need to ensure that all pupils can access our academic curriculum).
- Sixth Form Admission: This is based on interview and GCSE results with a minimum of five passes at grade 5 or above required, with specific grades for subjects wanting to follow at A Level or Higher Level IB.
- Entry Years and Exceptions: We accept entry to most years but no mid-course entry for GCSE or A Level/IB. We also offer a one-year GCSE course available for Year 11 entrants.
