COMPUTER SERVICES TECHNICIAN
Ryde School is seeking a Computer Services Technician to join our dedicated ICT team. In this role, you will provide essential technical support for the school’s infrastructure, ensuring that staff and pupils across our 17-acre site have the reliable technology they need to succeed.
The Role
This is a hands-on technical position focused on the smooth operation of our digital environment. You will:

Support & Troubleshoot: Solve hardware and software issues across the school, providing timely assistance to both staff and pupils.

Maintain Infrastructure: Assist in the management of our ICT infrastructure, including cloud environments and networking fundamentals.

Documentation: Create and maintain clear ICT guides and documentation to support user self-service and team efficiency.

Proactive Development: Work within a fast-paced environment where enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are essential for staying ahead of technological changes.
About You
We are looking for a technician with a proactive mindset and excellent communication skills. You will need:

Technical Proficiency: Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, ideally with experience in Google Workspace, Chromebooks, and Windows 11.

Interpersonal Skills: The ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users in a professional and friendly manner.

Organisational Skills: Excellent time management and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

Qualifications: Relevant IT qualifications or equivalent experience in cloud-based environments.
