Jesus Christ Superstar Senior School Production 

We can’t believe it’s all over! Our Senior School performance of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Jesus Christ Superstar showed for three nights last week and the students dazzled and amazed at every performance.

The first show was viewed by our major donor Vern Tyerman and nineteen of his family members who all travelled from America for the occasion, the Jenny Kerry Performing Arts Centre was named after and dedicated too, Vern’s late wife, Jenny Kerry.

“It has been a privilege and an honour to work with Vern, Jenny Kerry’s husband. Vern’s family, along with the Upper Chine Alumni and so many other sponsors have given generously to ensure that current and future generations of pupils at the school will continue to thrive and grow in such an inspirational setting” Ryde School Director of Performing Arts - Mr Youlten.

The Performing Arts department would like to give thanks to the entire creative and musical team as well as the unsung heroes who supported their show in many ways; performers, musicians, technicians, parents and staff.

Our incredibly talented music and drama students are already looking forward to performing on the Jenny Kerry stage again later this year.
