Year 6 lay a special wreath on the Statue of General Sir Jack Seeley

Today Year 6 pupils traveled to Carisbrooke Castle to lay a purple poppy wreath at the foot of the statue of General Sir Jack Seeley and his horse 'Warrior'. This was the first time a purple poppy wreath, a special wreath designed to remember animals that have been victims of war, has been laid at the statue. The students all stood for a moments silence in honour of Remembrance Day.
