Music Scholars Trip to Glyndebourne

Music Scholars have  trip to remember!

Over half-term, our Music Scholars enjoyed a fabulous trip to the world famous opera venue, Glyndebourne, to see Ralph (Year perform as part of the chorus in the premier of Pay the Piper, an opera based on the story of The Pied Piper of Hamelin, which was collaboratively written by four upcoming female composers. As part of the Glyndebourne Youth Opera, Ralph's performance was the culmination of an intense process of auditions and rehearsals that required much perseverance, commitment and courage as well as collaboration with students from mainland schools and top opera professionals. This hard work and effort certainly paid off with Ralph performing magnificently to sell-out audiences on five occasions in a beautifully produced and composed opera; truly a unique world-class operatic experience.
