School Swing Band

No better way to start our day than live music!

Last week our exceptional ‘School Swing Band’ took to the stage during Prep assembly to show our younger students what they could aspire to musically.

Music is very strong throughout Ryde School with all students attending lessons from Reception to the end of Year 8, with the option of continuing music throughout their time here.

The practical music-making experience within the classroom encourages many of our students to take individual lessons in one or more instruments and continue their musical studies. Extra lessons are also offered by our excellent team of peripatetic music teachers in all string, woodwind and brass instruments, both pitched and unpitched percussion as well as piano and voice!
