***In the nursery, for eligible pupils, up to 15 hours can be taken at the local authority funding rate in blocks of 3 hours for either morning or afternoon sessions.  Ryde School offers the universal entitlement of 15 hours free childcare to 3 and 4 year olds in the Nursery (but not in Reception).  It does not offer the entitlement of 30 hours free childcare, or free childcare for 2 year olds, to eligible parents as set out in the Childcare Bill.

FEES & DEPOSITS IN DETAIL

 

Registration Fees and Deposits

  • There is a non-refundable registration fee of £300
  • In addition, after a successful application, a refundable Acceptance Deposit is required with the completed and signed Acceptance Form.  If the pupil is withdrawn or the accepted place is not taken up, the deposit is non-refundable. 
    • Day pupils joining Reception to Year 12: £450
    • Boarding pupils with parents living in the EEA: £1000
    • Boarding pupils with parents living outside of the EEA: £7280
  • The Acceptance Deposit is refunded once the leaver's bill is issued after the pupil's final term at School, less any agreed outstanding charges.

BOARDING FEES IN MORE DETAIL

Our aim is to ensure that parents have transparency when it comes to school fees. We aim to ensure that the, common to all boarding schools, 'extras' bill is kept to a minimum and we, therefore, include many of the additional charges.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN YOUR FEES:

  • Tuition
  • Accommodation
  • Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner including access to additional snacks in the boarding house
  • Daily laundry and cleaning
  • Transfers at the start and end of every term from London Heathrow or Gatwick airport
  • Weekend boarding activities
  • The majority of extra-curricular activities ie excludes horse riding lessons.
  • English as Additional Language Lessons

WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED IN YOUR FEES:

  • Purchases from our onsite cafe
  • Public examination and other examination fees
  • Optional trips and excursions
  • Visa Compliance Fee (£350 inc VAT)
