Biology Workshops for the Sixth Form
Today 10 of our Sixth Form Biologists took part in the 12th Royal Holloway, University of London Rare Diseases Day Event. The activities included talks from the University's own Professors and Biomedical Science Undergraduates, as well as representatives from Charities, The British Society for Gene and Cell Therapy and Gene Therapy for Neuromuscular Diseases. The afternoon session included a Lab Activity, looking at X linkage for some recessive disorders. Our students continue to be part of the University's weekly Masterclass lectures too. This was an exciting experience for our keen Biologist and a taste of future learning.
