Sustainable Fashion at Ryde School

SUSTAINABLE FASHION

Linking their learning from the Fast Fashion unit in Geography with this term's Ryde Global collaborative business projects, Year 8 students were given an insight into the world of sustainable fashion from Rapanui / Teemill.

Students discovered how Rapanui, a local Isle of Wight brand, has made waves in the sustainable fashion industry, learning about all facets of the company from design, shipping and marketing. Year 8 students were keen to find out more about the company and will have the opportunity to design their own sustainable t-shirts in the near future!
