New House Master at Millfield Boarding House 

Before we welcome everyone back, we wanted to tell you about an exciting change happening over in the boarding house in September. We are moving from one Henry to the other as we welcome Henry Edwards as our new House Master in Millfield who will be joined by his partner Charlotte. This means saying goodbye to the much loved Henry Bagnall and his wife Jocelyn. 

We asked Henry Bagnall some questions as to what he will be doing in the future, he told us that he is moving to a Royal Hospital School in Suffolk to be a teacher of Business. Despite loving the Millfield boarding house, he has chosen to take some time away from boarding in order to spend more time with his family. Henry continued to say, “There is so much I will miss about Ryde, I have loved being House Master at Millfield and being involved in rugby and sailing fixtures here at Ryde School”. Henry will also miss the Isle of Wight, especially the beautiful beaches and his friends. 

We wish Henry and Joss all the very best and look forward to welcoming Henry and Charlotte.
