Ryde School celebrates successful inspection

Key areas of Ryde School, including its curriculum, pastoral care and respectful culture, have been praised following a successful inspection.

In a report published today (Friday), the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI), which visited in September, said the school met all statutory requirements.

Its ‘wide-ranging and engaging’ curriculum, ‘highly effective’ pastoral care and Ryde School’s culture of mutual respect were all key highlights.

Pupils, teachers and leaders were also recognised by inspectors.

“The school can take great pride in meeting all standards in this rigorous inspection,” said Will Turner, Head Master.

“The inspection covered areas of leadership, management and governance, quality of education, wellbeing, safeguarding, and boarding.

“The result is validation of the continued dedication of our staff and governors and the hard work of our pupils.

“This is a wonderful affirmation of our values of Ambition, Responsibility, Courage and Respect and I wish to thank all parents and guardians for the continued support they give the School.

“I look forward to building on this successful report and maintaining an outstanding education for all our pupils.”
