2025 GCSEs - another successful year
Ryde School is celebrating another year of very successful GCSE results.
23.8% of all GCSE results were at grade 9 or 8, which is the best achievement at this level at the School since 9 -1 grading was introduced (excluding Covid-adjusted years).
In line with the excellent results in the past few years, almost four in every ten grades were at 9, 8 or 7. Close to a third of pupils achieved five or more GCSEs at grade 7 or higher and over half of pupils achieved five or more GCSEs at grade 6
or higher.
88.7% of grades were at 9 to 4. Pupils will rightfully be enjoying their success after two years of focus and hard work.
There are also some fantastic individual achievements to note. Tessa G
achieved seven GCSEs at grade 9 and three at grade 8. Sara M
attained seven GCSEs at grade 9 and two at grade 8. Elsie A, Ben W,
Tom B, Lily J, Skye P and Ieuan T all gained eight GCSEs at grades 9 or
8 with Cori M and Charlotte N achieving seven GCSEs at grades 9 or 8.
Head Master Will Turner commented:
“Ryde School pupils can be very proud of another year of excellent GCSE results. These results reflect the hard work and ambition they have shown over the past two years that has combined with the professionalism and dedication of the School’s staff. All of us at Ryde are delighted to receive these great results following on from the very impressive A Level and IB results our Upper Sixth leavers achieved.”
