Ryde becomes forces friendly employer
We are proud to announce that Ryde School has officially become a forces-friendly employer.
Ryde has signed the Armed Forces Covenant, formalising the School’s long-standing relationship with the military community.
By signing the covenant, Ryde School commits to joining the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme, ensuring those who serve their country are actively supported in their daily and professional lives.

Ryde School Head Master, Will Turner, said: "Service and community are at the very heart of our school, captured by our motto, Ut Prosim, which means ‘That I may be of service’.
"The School’s connection to the military thrives through our active Combined Cadet Force (CCF) programme, featuring both Royal Navy and Royal Air Force sections, giving our pupils amazing opportunities to build leadership skills, teamwork, and resilience on and around the Solent.
"We are now very pleased to extend our commitment to forces personnel and their families by signing the Armed Forces Covenant.”
The scheme ensures employers support and accommodate military veterans, reservists, spouses and partners, as well as cadet force volunteers.
